Arbor Day Celebration
Celebrate Arbor Day with the City of Aspen's Parks, Trails and Open Space Department.
When: 5/19 from 10 - 12pm at Paepcke Park.
Festivities include: Free Hotdogs and drinks, information booths on topics including tree planting, care, insect/disease identification, community forest updates, wildfire as well as raffles, games, bucket truck rides for kids and free tree give-aways*. Free.

Aspen Tennis Club OPEN HOUSE
Aspen Tennis Club FREE Open House- Saturday, June 2nd 11am-2pm.
Come by, meet the staff and help us open the facility by participating in 3 hours of events. We will have a free clinic, free ball machine usage, free open courts to play. Come by to check out our 6 har-tru courts, great facility and staff.
Aspen Triathlon Club - Register Now!
The Aspen Recreation Center is excited to announce the launch of the Aspen Triathlon Club! This is a seasonal program offering high-level coaching for all levels of triathletes, from beginners just wanting to test the water right through to long distance triathletes.
Registration is $750 for the season and includes:
- 7 training sessions per week for the whole season
- 50% of Rudy Project Gear
- discounted club triathlon suits
- and extra information evenings throughout the season!
The First 5 people to register will receive a 60-min swim video analysis session valued at $150! Call Shelley at 970-544-4100 with questions.
Sailing Summer Camp at Reudi Reservoir
This program is designed for kids who want to learn more about sailing! Transportation is provided to Reudi Reservoir from Paepcke Park. Space is limited.
Mandatory swimming / skills assessment at the ARC pool June 12 & 14 from 6-7pm.
Ages: 10-16 | Dates: 6/19 - 8/16, Tuesday & Thursday
Fee: $616 per sailor (payment plan available)
Parkrun Aspen - Free 5K
A free, weekly, timed 5k run starting each Saturday at 8am from the Aspen Recreation Center. Everyone is welcome, no running experience necessary! Aspen parkrun looks forward to welcoming you.

Castle Creek Bridge Hallam Street Improvement Project
The Castle Creek Bridge will undergo a series of improvement projects designed to improve the safety and function of the area between the Castle Creek Bridge and 7th Street.
These necessary improvements will impact traffic flow in and out of Aspen. Please take the bus or ride your bike to the ARC
RFTA Free Bus service: The Castle Maroon bus operates three times each hour.
Monday – Saturday: 7 a.m. – 12 a.m. and Sunday: 9 a.m. – 9 p.m. | Outbound: Departs Rubey Park at :00, :20 and :40. Departs Castle Ridge at :07, :27 and :47.
Inbound: Departs Aspen Highlands at :00, :20 and :40 . Departs Castle Ridge/Aspen Valley Hospital at :05, :25 and :45.
